The team’s north star is to provide highly available and resilient cloud services, high-performance edge software, and the latest geospatial data to support all Anduril warfighter missions.ABOUT THE JOBWe are looking for Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will work on cloud infrastructure, edge software, and data related projects. You will design and implement capabilities that are part of Lattice in the cloud, and at the edge. This will require you to work across many business lines inside of Anduril to understand their needs and to synthesize solutions that can be used by the entire company. If you're hands-on, think long-term, and are dedicated to delivering indispensable software platforms, this role is for you.WHAT YOU’LL DOBuild data ingestion pipelines that process large geospatial datasetsCreate a platform that lets users access geospatial dataBuild edge software that enables high performance offline access to geospatial dataCollaborate with other Lattice service teams and Anduril business lines to design and build solutions that meet the needs of all business linesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS3-7 years working with a variety of programming languages such as Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, etc.Experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals (networking, security, distributed systems)Have experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilitiesLove building platform and infrastructure tooling that enables other software engineers to scale their outputEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSYou've built or invented something: an app, a website, game, startupPrevious experience working in an engineering setting: a startup (or startup-like environment), engineering school, etc. If you've succeeded in a low structure, high autonomy environment you'll succeed here!Professional software development lifecycle experience using tools such as version control, CICD systems, etc.A deep, demonstrated understanding of how computers and networks work, from a single desktop to a multi-cluster cloud nodeExperience building scalable backend software systems with various data storage and processing requirementsAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code basesExperience implementing robot or autonomous vehicle testing frameworks in a software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environmentExperience with modern build and deployment tooling (e.g. Crossplane, Terraform)Experience designing complex software systems, and iterating upon designs via a technical design review processFamiliarity with industry standard monitoring, logging, and data management tools and best practicesA bias towards rapid delivery and iterationUS Salary Range$166,000—$220,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
