Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging studies
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results
- Evaluate and process images for physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations
- CNMT Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine
- New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license to practice nuclear medicine
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Adherence to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient nuclear medicine setting
- Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements
