About the Position

Rural Texas Hospital needing a day shift House Supervisor. Critical Care experience REQUIRED. Must have BLS, ACLS, & PALS. We are seeking an experienced and organized RN House Supervisor to oversee hospital nursing operations during assigned shifts. The RN House Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care activities, supporting nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and serving as the administrative leader in the absence of department management.   Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing operations across hospital departments during assigned shifts.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and ancillary staff.
• Monitor staffing levels, patient flow, and unit coverage to ensure safe patient care.
• Respond to emergencies, patient concerns, and staffing issues as needed.
• Serve as a resource for clinical problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, department managers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed management.
• Support quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
• Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and operational updates.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
