Utility Worker (Dish room)

We are hiring full-time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. Duties / Responsibilities Responsible for washing dishes, glasses, silverware and equipment using our large automated commercial dishwashing machine. Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately. Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours, for all other departments to run efficiently. Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues. Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures. Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States. Pass a background check and clear a drug screen. Be able to stand for the full duration of the shift. Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world. Comprehend verbal and written specifications in English. Possess basic math skills. Be able to work a flexible schedule in this 24 hour operation, 7 days a week. Eligibility & Requirements This is a Union position – must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days. Must be available to work a full-time position, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English. Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently, and 10+ pounds consistently; bend, stoop, twist repeatedly; and stand for 8-12 hours a day. Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed. Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
