Compensation and Schedule Hourly wage: $25.00 - $31.00 Wednesday - Saturday, 4 x 10s Key Responsibilities Be the first line of review for external prescriptions on the dashboard, delegating calls to clinical liaisons or acting as a secondary backup for prescription fills when needed. Monitor daily Cubex reports, resolve cycle count discrepancies, and conduct investigations. Champion compliance by overseeing daily refrigerator and freezer temperature logs. Participate in hospital rounds to identify drug-related patient care questions, collaborating with the pharmacist for follow-up. Assist with preparing discharge medications and reconciling owner-provided medications. Receiving and stocking of all medications in Cubex systems. Collaborate with the Technician Learning and Development Specialist to create engaging onboarding and training experiences in the pharmacy. Be the go-to resource for client drug-related inquiries, callbacks, and communication to positively impact the client experience. Fill prescriptions with precision, with final review and sign-off by a supervisor. Review CURES reports daily, addressing and resolving any reporting errors. Manage Chewy dashboard tasks, voicemails, emails, and callbacks, ensuring seamless communication with doctors and clinical liaisons to meet client needs. Qualifications Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) is required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in veterinary or medical pharmacy operations preferred. Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions. Familiarity with prescription management software, Cubex systems, and compliance tools is a bonus. A passion for learning, multitasking, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
