Viridian Staffing's ( Client is looking for a Head Grower for a small indoor grow operation about 40 minutes outside of the Portland, Maine, area.
Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry. As Head Grower, you will have the opportunity to cultivate, manage, motivate, and provide administrative support to the daily activities and operations of the grow. You should have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude in order to be successful in this operation.SOP's have been established already, but you will be expected to enforce these and refine when necessary in an effort to advance the Company's mission.You should have a knack for efficient distribution of resources and strong problem solving skills.You should also be compliance driven and are an effective people manager. The ideal Head Grower will have 2+ years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience, with at least 1+ years of that experience being as a people manager. You have managed an indoor cultivation facility of at least 4k square feet of canopy and have solid IPM experience.If you love all aspects of managing a grow cycle, mentoring/managing the people who also have a strong passion for growing, and developing your direct reports, then we'd love to see your resume to be considered for this opportunity!
