Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will follow the company's Quality Management System and encourage others to do the same, using your expertise to perform detailed inspections and evaluations.
Responsibilities

• Inspect products currently in production using blueprint reading and specification interpretation skills.
• Utilize experience and judgment to select efficient inspection and measurement techniques.
• Conduct first part buy-off and in-process inspections of manufactured details and assemblies.
• Perform final inspections and document reviews, documenting non-conformances for MRB in the ERP system.
• Control both internal and external documents.
• Assist with internal quality audits.
• Develop inspection procedures and methods, determine deviations from blueprints or standards, and report results.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills and utilize time-saving methods.
• Contribute to the growth of company technology by improving knowledge.
• Work effectively in a team environment under project leaders or supervisors.
• Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced employees.

Essential Skills

• Quality assurance and quality control experience.
• Proficiency in production, calipers, quality inspection, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with micrometers and hand tools.
• Mechanical assembly and inspection skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Training and experience with programming and running coordinate measurement systems (CMM Manager with and without CAD models) is preferred.
• Understanding of Boeing's EID system is preferred.
• Training and experience in internal quality auditing is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with drawing interpretation and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and aerospace drawings for plastic parts.
• Proficiency in inspecting molded parts using conventional machine shop inspection tools.
• Understanding of GD&T and AS9102 FAIR.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong backgrounds in aerospace manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Good communication, reading, reporting, and computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
