Pay Rate: $28/hr. on W2

Job Type: Contract 12 Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist Tier 3 to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, part locations, replenishment, receiving, and inventory tracking for gas/chemical components and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management, asset tracking, data entry, and organizational skills, with experience using an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and conditions.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Define, maintain, and standardize part locations, shelves, bins, storage areas, and Kanban systems.
• Coordinate ordering and replenishment with suppliers.
• Receive, stock, and enter inventory information into inventory management systems.
• Track inventory turnover and KPIs to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support property administration through tagging, photographing, data entry, inventory tracking, recordkeeping, and information gathering.
• Assist with space allocation and property tracking activities.
• Support Health & Safety activities as needed, including lifting/labeling gas cylinders and moving chemical inventory.
• Work with internal vendors and service contractors.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in inventory control, inventory management, material management, or asset tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to complete a required physical examination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
• Experience with Sunflower is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience managing gas/chemical components or industrial inventory.
• Experience working with vendors and service contractors.
