Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient facility in Front Royal, VA, designed to foster a collaborative and engaging atmosphere. You will work closely with a team of skilled therapists in a fully equipped clinic that emphasizes evidence-based practices. Scheduled Monday through Friday, your typical workweek will consist of 40 hours, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred for orthopedic care, assessing their specific needs and establishing individualized treatment plans in cooperation with referring physicians.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs utilizing hands-on techniques and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers about rehabilitation processes and self-management strategies, promoting independence and self-efficacy.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create therapeutic interventions to enhance each patient's recovery experience.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to improve treatment outcomes and foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensure that all equipment is properly states to promote safety and functionality within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role primarily focuses on treating orthopedic patients but extends to other specialties, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will work directly with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, forging meaningful connections with each patient. Our emphasis on personalized care ensures that you are equipped to meet the diverse needs of each individual, fostering their recovery journey with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Proficient in clinical documentation and treatment planning.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency, to ensure efficient practice operations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with orthopedic focus.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with patient education and engagement strategies to foster adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships in the local community, enhancing the center's outreach and connections.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
