In this role, you will be responsible for the development of frontend services in support of the development of CloudHesive's SaaS-based Cloud Management Platform, Centricity.What You'll Be Doing:Work efficiently and collaboratively as a member of an Agile Scrum team Be open to learning technologies patterns, platforms, and embrace positive change Deliver thoughtful, well composed, easy to read features and bugfixes in the UI Partake in estimating, planning, and managing all stories and tasks assigned to the team Be an active and involved participant in all aspects of the agile process/cycle Complete ownership of all-things client-side in the web applications development lifecycle Be inquisitive, clear up doubt by articulating any unknowns promptly, clearing roadblocks Vocalize any assumptions made when estimating task or research complexity estimation Collaborate with testing focused software engineers on the Scrum team to assure delivery of a high-quality product Understand and adhere to the definition-of-done (DoD) Participate in technical discussions ranging from current implementation challenges to architectural evolution of the product portfolio Create and maintain applicable documentationBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and/or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Self-motivated with strong task and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with an open and honest attitude Prior experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum and Kanban) Advanced knowledge in Angular, AngularJS or React with Redux and Thunk/Saga Expertise with HTML5, SCSS/CSS3/CSS4, React v16+, AngularJS, Vue, Vuex, Vuetify Consuming and messaging over XML Requests using GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE Strong attention to detail Understanding of asynchronous non-blocking, thread-safe code using caching, web sockets, and web worker processes and how they can dramatically change user and developer experience UI development which integrated with AWS Connect, S3, CLI, Lambda, API Gateway, Terraform, VPC, Workspaces, DynamoDB, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Rekognition, Chime, EC2, CloudFormation or any major cloud SaaS platform Desire and wisdom to lead and guide Junior Software Engineers in small team environments Strong problem solving and analytical skills coupled with a collaborative approach Ability to own issues and follow through on solutions and projects Front-end development experience using Agile methodologies Experience with Test Driven Development Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., CodeSuite) Previous professional experience with hands-on cloud-based development (AWS, Azure, GCP) Periodically engage with the technical community via Pull Requests, Blog Posts, Social Media, Webinars, Meet Ups, etc. Attain and/or Retain relevant Certifications Commit to continuous learning via reading technical documentation, participating in Webinars or other such events.
