Hospital Technician - Advent Health

Overview Daniels Health is seeking a customer service oriented Field Service Representative at Advent Health locations. This position is responsible for the inspection and servicing of all Daniels products within the assigned hospital or medical center. The representative will maintain inventory and provide the first line of customer service, collaborating daily with drivers, operations personnel, sales teams, and corporate support staff to service the assigned hospital location. What will your job involve? Work with clinical staff within Advent Health locations to ensure proper healthcare waste segregation, timely container exchanges, and container fill accuracy Inspect and service all Daniels products within the assigned hospital or medical center, including entering procedural areas and working around sensitive patients and equipment Maintain adequate inventory levels of container stock at the location and department level Maintain clear communications and strong relationship management with hospital staff and Daniels staff Communicate and escalate customer issues to management to ensure timely response and resolution; use a company-provided phone for daily duties Maintain professional, positive working relationships with customers and other hospital staff independently Ensure the staging area is neat and orderly after entering and before leaving the facility Stand and walk for a significant portion of the day Lift containers weighing up to 50 lbs Push/pull wheeled transporters and/or palletized product up to approximately 300 lbs What are we looking for? Standard hospital vaccinations Willingness to take a 5-panel urine drug screen Willingness to take a 7-year background check Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job involving repetitive lifting of 50–75 lb containers Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE Proven longevity with employers Can-do attitude Experience in EVS, housekeeping, or sterilization technician roles Why work for us?
