Additional Information About the Role Unit Secretary – Cardiac ICU (Barnes Jewish Hospital) Part time position. Shift Details Shift: 3x12s Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. 3rd weekend rotation 2 holidays a year Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team. Responsibilities Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support. Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail. Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
