Details Work in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts Weekend coverage required on Fridays and Saturdays Possible on-call responsibilities Utilizes EPIC EMR system Requirements Active Texas or Compact RN license required at time of consideration 2 years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience required Experience with HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC lines required EPIC EMR experience required Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Resume required for consideration Skills checklist specific to NICU required 2 supervisory references from within the last year required Proof of taxable address required (e.g. driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, or similar document) Additional Information Coordinate individualized patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on patient condition, competencies, and state nursing practice guidelines Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local Must disclose any previous employment history with the facility in candidate profile No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749511.
