Paralegal

We’re currently partnering with a well-established law firm to identify a skilled Contract Probate Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in estate administration who is looking to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file probate petitions, inventories, accountings, and related court documents Draft legal correspondence and assist with wills, trusts, and affidavits Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings Serve as a point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, executors, and third parties Assist with asset collection, identification, and valuation Maintain organized case files and documentation Communicate with probate courts, financial institutions, and agencies Support attorneys with case preparation and proceedings Qualifications 2+ years of probate, estate administration, or trust & estates experience Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred Strong knowledge of probate processes and court procedures Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems Preferred Experience Exposure to estate tax filings or fiduciary accountings Knowledge of Connecticut-specific probate laws and processes #J-18808-Ljbffr SR Staffing
