This may include areas such as:Workforce planningStaffing consultationTraining, development, and skill enhancementSuccession planningOrganization designPerformance managementCulture assessment and developmentEmployee relations & coachingCompensation administrationIdentifies, plans, executes critical HR goalsIdentify critical HR goals and factors for success; is responsible for executing related actionsCultivate a partnering relationship with top line leadersConsult and provide insights to leadersAdvise management on HR Policies, programs, and proceduresAct as liaison between division and HR functional areasPerforms role as change agent for implementing new HR programs and/or processes.Develops and executes communication plans.Advises management and professionals on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures. Seeks to ensure compliance and understanding of HR policies.Analyzes and provides advice to management on methods and approaches to resolveProvide ongoing guidance and development support to HR Partners to strengthen overall team performanceChampion change management initiatives and drive alignment of HR processes across global teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business-related field; Human Resources preferred; Master’s degree preferredAbility to mentor and develop HR team members to elevate capability and effectivenessExtensive knowledge of domestic employment law and compliance issues (local, state and federal, such as Fair Labor Standards Act, Wage & Hour)Ability to flex style to engage effectively with global workforce.Strong knowledge of HR programs, policies and procedures understanding of Human Resource Information System(s) Excellent problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)Ability to manage several projects of functional areas concurrentlyStrong human relations skills (written, verbal, client service)Strong conceptual planning abilityBusiness acumen and ability to understand business metrics and financialsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft, including PowerPoint and ExcelMinimum Qualifications8+ years progressive HR experience in one or more functional areasAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationWork Environment/Physical DemandsHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.Salary PlanADM: Administrative/BusinessJob Grade018Black & Veatch endeavors to make accessible to any and all users.
