Mechanical Instrument Assembler Compensation

• Pay rate: $28.00 per hour
• Hours - M-F 6am - 2:30pm

Mechanical Instrument Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assemble electro-mechanical components of flow cytometers following established procedures.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to standards.
• Generate documentation for the Device History Record (DHR).
• Review and interpret assembly instructions, work orders, Bills of Materials, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.
• Support new product introduction and contribute to process and product documentation updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Mechanical Instrument Assembler QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Information

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Work environment: On-site
• Includes: Safety procedures and compliance with ISO 9000 and cGMP 21 CFR part 820.

Education/Licenses Needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years related experience in high-tech manufacturing or medical device environment
• Experience building laser-based optical, fluidic, and electronic systems
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, cGMP 21 CFR 820, LEAN Manufacturing, and Six Sigma concepts
