Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to the Mother Baby unit as needed to support unit staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic charting system
• Fulfill weekend and holiday scheduling requirements in accordance with unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required (candidates with 1.5 years may be considered)
• First-time travelers must have a minimum of 4 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Demonstrated experience with a 1:3 patient ratio in a NICU setting
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP Advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• Ability to float between like units, including Mother Baby
