We efficiently serve growers' needs and strive to provide a more profitable, sustainable, and secure future for all stakeholders.  Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.  What You'll Do:Meet with peers and subordinates to set schedule plans for the week and check daily progressAdminister group safety meetings and shop safety inspectionsInfluence personnel requirements and salary adjustment requestsAssist with controlling budget costsEvaluate and recommend capital needs for their groupEvaluate quality standards for area maintenance responsibilityDirect and coordinate the orderly and efficient operations of Maintenance crews while carrying out duties as required by General Supervisor and higher managementResolve problems relating to, or interfering with, meeting maintenance schedulesAnalyze and assess methods of improving and reducing Maintenance operations expensesAnalyze personnel needs according to production flow and operations conditionCommunicate daily with General Supervisor and department engineer to stay abreast of work schedules, planning changes, and critical timing of major projectsReview and discuss discipline problems with General SupervisorGenerate, evaluate, and review annual performance and improvement plan of assigned personnelWhat You'll Bring:A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is requiredCompleted Maintenance Craft Program or similar certificationSolid background in all types of equipment such as pumps, turbines, gear boxes, blowers and bearings, and conveyor systemsTechnical Degree or Bachelor Degree preferred2+ years Supervisory experience, preferredSuccessful completion of supervisory assessmentAdhere to Nutrien attendance policiesCompetent or better rating on past 2 performance reviews160 hours of upgrade to supervisorReady to make an impact with us?
