Experience in neuro is ideal. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Rapid Response specialty. We have an urgent need for qualified candidates to fill this role. Candidates must possess all necessary clearances prior to starting. Responsibilities include providing care to adult patients, focusing on those with common neurological diagnoses. You will work with a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1. Equipment used includes vital sign machines and cardiac monitors. The expected patient population includes adults with various conditions, including CVA, TIA, and seizure disorders. Competency in dysrhythmia is required. Candidates will be tested on dysrhythmia and medication dosage during orientation. All necessary facility education will be provided to complete during the orientation period. Dress code requires scrubs, while specific unacceptable attire will not be permitted. Candidates must be available to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled. Position is newly created to support expanded services.
