AECOM is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Architectural Designer to join our team in Columbus, OH.This role is an excellent opportunity for an emerging design professional who is passionate about architecture, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate with experienced architects and multidisciplinary teams. As an Entry-Level Designer, you will support a variety of project types through all phases of design and documentation, gaining valuable hands-on experience while developing your technical and design skills.Working alongside industry-leading professionals, you will contribute to design development, prepare project deliverables, assist with technical documentation, and help bring innovative architectural solutions to life. Since 2022, Ohio B+P projects have earned nearly 30 design awards, reflecting our commitment to craft, performance, resiliency, and innovation at every scale.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environmentsProvide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes, type and complexityProduce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clientsDeveloping iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staffAdapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situationsCoordinates design activities with other engineering disciplinesParticipate in design through all phases, from concept to construction administration.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS in Architecture + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationDue to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications Master's in architectureStrong conceptual design and schematic design skillsWorking knowledge of 3D modeling; Revit, Sketchup, and/or Rhino desiredProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignDesire to actively work toward architectural licensureLEED AccreditationStrong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional InformationRelocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.Occasional travel may be required for this position.Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
