Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during orthopedic, neurosurgical spine, vascular, and plastics flap procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating room
• Handle and pass surgical instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure proper setup of the operating room prior to each case
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols throughout surgical procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Surgical Technologist License
• Current BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Flu vaccine required
• Experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical spine procedures
• Experience in vascular and plastics flap procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Broad surgical subspecialty experience across multiple service lines
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment
