Production Manager

Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a Production Manager based in Reamstown, PA. The Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the Revolving Door production department in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organizations.HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $97,000 - $118,000 plus a generous Short Term Incentive Bonus (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.What you will doDirect the Revolving Door product finalization, material handling, and shipping of all manufactured products at the most economical costs consistent with prescribed quality and performance standardsReview production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operationsAssist in maintaining the personnel management programs by enforcing and explaining company policies as they relate to safety, human relations, and production goalsWork closely with HR to manage employee relations issues and escalate to Plant Manager for further resolution, where appropriateReview production and operating reports and resolve operational manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delaysManage daily KPI’sWhat we require4 year college or university program certificate or engineering degree; or 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years’ experience in production management with management trainingExtensive understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes in custom production settingWhat we preferLean and/or Six Sigma CertificationExcellent communication skills both oral and writtenERP Experience or SAP in a manufacturing environmentWhat we offerTaking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
