MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to accurately follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. This role requires independent decision making and adherence to safety and imaging protocols. Candidates must be able to work a night schedule in a hospital setting in Gretna, LA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (ARRT R required by client)
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as applicable
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist. Candidate will be working solo; two years required.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology environment preferred
• Ability to wear specified scrub color (pewter) as required by the unit
• Unit will accept first-time travel clinicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with higher-volume MRI units (average daily census ~20)
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred but not required

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour (1900 - 0730)
• No call required
• Travelers may be assigned to an emergency response or relief team as directed by unit management during emergency events.
