Conduct assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized methods and observational techniques.

Craft individualized treatment strategies to meet both short-term objectives and long-term goals for communication, cognition, or swallowing.

Deliver direct speech therapy sessions with emphasis on communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.

Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, physicians, families, and caregivers to establish comprehensive care plans.

Provide educational resources for patients and family members to support their progress beyond clinical encounters.

Assist with occasional assessments and interventions in an inpatient setting, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in line with state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.

Commit to ongoing learning through professional development and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for all age groups, possessing a robust understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal communication capabilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Cultural competence to tailor therapy techniques according to the linguistic and cultural needs of clients.

Solid clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices.
