Freight Broker

FreightCo, LLC of Fort Wayne, IN has an available position of Freight Broker/Carrier Representative. This position provides a solid base salary with additional earning potential from bonus/commission. Responsibilities Solicit/Source freight carriers, develop carrier network to meet operational and customer needs. Continuous development of carrier group specific to current and potential operational needs. Provide carrier management specific to on-time pick ups and deliveries. Work directly and indirectly with customer service and sales to achieve full utilization of carrier network. Onboard and maintain assigned carriers profile in transportation management system, specific to carrier qualifications, and operational changes. Qualifications Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Able work in a fast paced/competitive industry. High level organizational and follow up skills. Success driven, ability to participate in organizational development. Strong negotiating and influencing abilities. Sales focused - \"Winning\" attitude". Technology proficient in standard Microsoft office application, and the aptitude to work with industry specific applications and management systems. Transportations experience, or similar sales related experience desired. Entry level, recent college graduates will be giving strong consideration.
