Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and expert nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts. Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and deliver individualized nursing interventions.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information and care provided in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Complete all required assessments, certifications, and compliance modules timely.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 18 months of recent, permanent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit current certifications, including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate, in active status.
  
  
• 
  Successfully pass facility assessments including ECG rhythm test and SafeMedicate with acceptable scores.
  
  
• 
  Complete FBI/BCI background checks within 48 hours of signing the contract.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to adhere to travel compliance and facility policies, including nicotine-free status if applicable.
