Job Summary

We are seeking a Scanning Clerk to support document preparation, scanning, and indexing of Human Services case files. This role involves handling routine clerical tasks using established procedures and computer systems to ensure documents are processed accurately and efficiently.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with clerical, administrative, data entry, or document management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare documents and case files for scanning
  • Scan and digitally upload Human Services records accurately
  • Index and organize scanned files within internal systems
  • Verify scanned documents for quality, completeness, and accuracy
  • Perform data entry and record updates as needed
  • Follow established scanning and document handling procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive case file information
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency using:
    • Windows-based computers
    • Scanners and office equipment
    • Standard office software and systems
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to work accurately within deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain new processes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior document scanning or records management experience preferred
  • Clerical, administrative, or data entry experience is a plus

Ideal Candidate

Ideal for organized and detail-oriented candidates with office support, scanning, or administrative experience who are comfortable handling repetitive clerical tasks with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
