Scope of Work Analyze and interpret criminal law documents, including statutes, case law, and court filings, to extract relevant insights. Review and edit complex legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with established standards. Summarize legal arguments, decisions, and procedural issues for use in training legal AI models. Distill and articulate intricate legal concepts and reasoning into concise, accessible language. Provide actionable feedback on legal content to ensure accuracy and real-world applicability. Stay current with developments in criminal law and integrate new knowledge into project tasks. Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams using digital platforms to deliver project milestones. Preferred Qualifications JD or LLM degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership. Substantial experience practicing criminal law, particularly within BigLaw or major law firm environments. Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and writing in the context of criminal matters. Proven ability to review and synthesize large volumes of legal information with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining nuanced legal issues. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and sound legal judgment. Interest or experience in legal technology and willingness to adapt to new digital platforms for remote collaboration.
