Responsibilities Provide training and development to all cleaners as necessary. Plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvement in methods, equipment, and working conditions. Supervise, promote, and enforce safety rules and regulations. Ensure that all jobs are completed on time while maintaining appropriate level of quality. Monitor normal housekeeping in the cleaning area on all shifts, and assign cleaners to perform the cleaning as necessary. Maintain thorough working knowledge of the Company’s contingency plan for the facility. RCRA duties including assisting the Facility Manager in the administration and supervision of all areas of Residual Management. Conduct activities related to waste and water management. Communicate with customers to ensure deadline compliance. Perform the duties of a Tank Cleaner as needed, including properly disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble tank internally and externally, including vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedure. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree 3+ years of supervisory experience; experience in tank wash, transportation, chemical, environmental services, or related industry experience preferred. Mechanical ability and inclination. Ability to think ahead and plan for scheduling changes and to prepare action plans to achieve results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, decision-making ability, sound judgment, and safety-oriented. Must be able to motivate and possess a strong sense of teamwork. Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) chemical information. Proficiency in MS Office products and Internet.
