Quality Engineer

Quality Control SpecialistEnsure the accuracy and reliability of quality control systems and equipment by supporting process capability and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, driving data-driven analysis, troubleshooting, and calibration activities to maintain compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards, and contributing to product quality, operational efficiency, and risk management through technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving.Essential Functions/Key DeliverablesUtilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to support process capability and corrective actionsManage measurement system analysis, including inspection systems, gauge management, calibration, and analytical testingDevelop and implement instructions for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and evaluating products, equipment, and processesReview Certificates of Acceptance (CoA) for produced batches and ensure timely releaseConduct process capability analysis (Cpk, Ppk, CTQ) and maintain calibration certificates for equipmentSupport quality product development, trial tests, and customer auditsAssist in developing and delivering quality training for employeesParticipate in traceability, investigations, and root cause analysis for nonconforming products and complaintsExecute periodic gap analysis and generate reports, charts, and improvement projectsMonitor and test critical control points (CCPs) and perform internal audits, generating action plans for findingsEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental and quality standardsKnowledge/Skills/ExperienceBachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.Knowledge of HARA, ISO, and BRCGS standards.Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience in quality metrics, reporting, and troubleshooting.Exposure to calibration, process capability analysis, and audit support.Solid understanding of quality assurance standards (HARA, ISO, BRCGS), manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks.Proficiency in internal quality processes, tools, and proprietary systems.Ability to apply technical knowledge independently and collaboratively.Company Policies and Code of Conduct.Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).Production Process & Equipment Overview.Product Quality & Non-Conformance Management.The employee may be required to complete additional training as directed by the Company, in response to operational, quality and/or safety needs, or to meet other business requirements.AG5 LinkAbility to communicate in business language – country specific.Internal: Collaborates with Quality, Production, Operations, and management to align on quality objectives, coordinate technical support, and ensure consistent service delivery.External: Supports customer audits, interacts with suppliers and external auditors, and communicates findings and recommendations as needed.Independently makes operational decisions related to calibration, process capability, and corrective actions.Collaborates on process improvements, audit findings, and training initiatives with management and cross-functional teams.Decisions impact compliance, product quality, and operational efficiency within assigned areas.CANPACK Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law or not related to job requirements, unless such distinction is required by law.
