Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina

Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 3:30 PM

Start Date: Upcoming School Year (August)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join a school-based team in Fayetteville, NC. This onsite role supports students with a variety of physical and mobility needs, helping them access their educational environment and achieve greater independence.

We are open to new graduates , though candidates with pediatric or school-based experience (at least 1 year preferred) are highly encouraged to apply. This position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to both receive and provide training , making it ideal for someone eager to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals

• Evaluate students physical and mobility needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Support students in improving strength, coordination, balance, and functional mobility

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service logs

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy preferred

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required

• Open to new graduates

• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred (1+ year)

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

• Flexible and supportive in supervising assistants
