Senior Graphic Designer

Flexjet, LLC is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the brands award winning in-house creative team that services the Flexjet brand as well as various other private aviation brands under the Directional Aviation portfolio of companies.This role will be a part of a highly creative, speed-to-execution driven environment that will allow the Senior Graphic Designer to expand their skillset exponentially and apply multiple styles of design and production execution for a variety of artistic brand experiences and marketing launches. The Senior Graphic Designer will assist in the balance of implementing an elegant design aesthetic with high utility in mind for various types of creative outputs. An ideal candidate would fulfill the following requirements: skilled; a motivated self-starter, considerate and aware of internal teams workflow and processes; have a passion for creating original concepts; committed to leading great design; have an appreciation for the details; self-critical; have a good sense of humor and thrives in a collaborative environment.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESDay-to-day, the Senior Graphic Designer will work with fellow Designers, Copywriters, Developers, Vendors, Brand Partners and Marketing Channel Managers to produce resultsdriven creative. This includes but not limited to:Create conceptual design work; both for furthering the brand(s) identities and obtaining executive buy-in on large initiatives Designing original creative, from concept to final deliverable. This includes, but not limited to: event installations; immersive brand activations, luxury invitations, premium books; theme concepting, image selection and color correction and exploratory with new marketing opportunities in both print and digital Assist Creative Director and fellow designers with brainstorming and creating pitch concepts and presentations to both internal and external stakeholders Assist with evolving the graphic language and design style for Flexjet and sister brands within the digital space Ability to produce 2D and 3D prototypes of concepts for review (print and digital)Provide creative support for various internal departments Assist with leading internal advocacy for the creative teams design methodology Stay updated on industry trends, design tools and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and efficiencies Act as a brand identity stylist for various other private aviation brands under the Directional Aviation portfolio of companiesBalance multiple projects and meetings with various deadlines and schedule changes Collaborate and brainstorm with fellow in-house creatives and other team members to ideate, support and promote creative content Work on brand collabs to create original, curated digital experiences and making smart design decisions that enhance both brands within the given project Show adaptability on a daily basis EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLSBA/BFA/BS degree in design or similar field 8+ years professionalexperience in graphic, brand, experiential or event design with a strong portfolio of work Previous in-house team and/or agency experience preferred Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365 and various other prototype and concept development programs Mastery of personal time management to balance project workloads, deadlines and the regular communication of both Display a regular passion for learning OTHER BENEFICIAL AREASConceptual illustration and sketchingExperience designing and concepting for events and brand activationsAdvanced experience with managing own creative projects from start to indevelopment; experience with a Project Manager/Traffic Coordinator a plusAsset management system utilization and/or familiarityStrong layout and design theory backgroundAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a speed-to-market, deadline driven cultureCapability to concept and execute unique approaches to projectsAn eye for detailTypographic maturityExperience working with brand guidelinesMust be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, attention to detail and project awareness Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change and opportunity Able to digest and adapt to constructive criticism and directionKnowledge of HTML and web design principlesGreat understanding of responsive mobile design**Travel in support of projects and initiativesincluding occasional domestic and international travel required.** Position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH incorporating a hybrid model.
