Hourly Employee Bellevue Plant, Bellevue, OH, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1093 Department: Commercial Services Status: Part Time/Non-exempt Reports to: Logistics/WarehouseSupervisor Positionsummary : TheBaler Operatoris responsible forbaling productsfor recyclingthat meet the quality and safety standards forboth the companyandits customers. Essential functions: Follow established policies and procedures on the baling process, including use ofPersonal Protective Equipment. Ensure that the workstationcontains thecorrect components and safety procedures have been followed prior to assembly. Maintain open communication with supervisors, team leaders and material handlers regarding productionstatus (i.e., downtime, material shortage, etc.). Maintain daily production sheets utilizing thecorrect task codes for production time, downtime, floor time, etc.; ensure that daily production totals are accurate. Assists as Box Truck Helper as necessary. Maintain a good attendance record. Maintain work area, including sweeping, emptying garbage, etc. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality. Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times. Promote positive teamwork among co-workers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and required skills: Knowledge of Safety/OSHA regulations. Ability to safely use power tools as required to maintain facility and equipment. Ensures proper use of Personal Protective Equipment when required. Ability to use physical exertion such as prolonged periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, reaching andclimbing; ability to lift up to 25lbs. consistently.
