Title:           Chemical Manufacturing Operations Technician/Chemical Technician/Chemical Operator

Location:   1969 Palomar Oaks Way, Bldg A ,Carlsbad CA 92011

Shift:          1st Shift - 5am - 1:30pm ( M – F)

Role Summary

Operations Technician will support chemical manufacturing operations , including vessel decontamination, chemical filling/packaging, vessel assembly, inspections, and hazardous waste handling. The role requires strong attention to safety, quality, documentation, and troubleshooting .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated vessel decontamination.
• Fill/package chemicals and acid-wash stainless steel and quartz vessels.
• Handle hazardous waste and assist with material receiving.
• Assemble vessels using drawings and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment/system issues with Engineering.
• Perform inspections, data entry, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment.
• Work with chemicals including acids, acetone, and IPA while using required PPE/respirator.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Chemical handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read SDS and work instructions .
• Strong safety, quality, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• SAP and LIMS experience highly preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and lift/carry up to 50 lbs .
• Must be clean-shaven for respirator use.
