Insurance Verification & Billing Coordinator - Pediatric Dental Office

Insurance Verification & Billing Coordinator Full-Time | On-Site Position We are a busy and growing pediatric dental office seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Verification & Billing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with dental insurance verification, insurance follow-up, and patient billing. Experience working in a pediatric dental practice is a plus. Responsibilities: Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits. Obtain and document accurate insurance information. Review treatment plans and insurance benefits to determine patient portions. Follow up on outstanding, denied, and unpaid claims. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies. Assist with patient billing inquiries and account questions. Maintain accurate patient insurance and billing records. Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients. Work closely with the clinical and front-office teams to ensure accurate and timely billing. Qualifications: Prior dental insurance and billing experience required. Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, benefits, EOBs, claims, and reimbursement. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and follow up consistently. Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team member. Experience with Open Dental software is a plus. Pediatric dental office experience is preferred but not required. Schedule & Compensation: Full-time, Monday–Friday. On-site position — this is not a remote position.
