Pay Rate: $620,000.00 per year.

Overview

Intermountain Health seeks a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to establish its first employed GI team serving Utah Valley.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base salary: $620,000.00
• 7-on/7-off block schedule option (mix inpatient/outpatient)
• Work‑RVU bonus above 4,400 per 6 months
• Call coverage bonus beyond required 1:5 schedule
• $40,000 annual bonus based on specific quality metrics
• $18,000 annual training stipend (first 2 years)
• $25,000 annual loan‑repayment over 3 years
• Up to $20,000 annually via Continuous Improvement bonus

Responsibilities

• Practice general gastroenterology, including outpatient and inpatient care.
• Optional ERCP and advanced procedures as opportunities arise.
• Provide care to patients currently traveling to Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Experience or willingness to perform ERCP and advanced GI procedures.
• Strong communication skills and patient‑centered approach.
