Key responsibilities include:

• Performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
• Operating ultrasound equipment with precision, optimizing settings for accurate image capture
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout the examination
• Collaborating with radiologists and care teams to interpret ultrasound findings
• Accurately documenting imaging results and patient details in the EMR system
• Educating patients on procedures and addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, AIUM, and facility safety protocols
• Conducting regular equipment checks and reporting any issues
• Staying updated on sonography best practices and technology developments

Qualifications include:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Certification through ARDMS or ARRT (S)
• Oregon state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, if applicable

Experience and skills include:

• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging software
• Strong anatomical knowledge and technical sonography skills
• Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility for weekend and on-call shifts
