About the role

We are looking to add an HVAC Technician to our growing Maintenance Department. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within the facility. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of all HVAC units. The technician will work closely with the facility maintenance team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This on-site position will directly support our Maintenance operations at our Corsicana, TX facility. This role will follow a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, boilers, chillers, pumps, and control systems.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues using appropriate tools and methods.
• Monitor HVAC performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members on broader facility operations and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all work activities.

• Schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Knowledge of different types of building materials.
• Building System knowledge: HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, building automation systems.
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC certification.
• Universal certification and R410A
• Prior facilities maintenance experience or relevant operation experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems related to HVAC.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Physical requirements and work environment

• Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 Pounds)
• Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
• Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

• PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
• Hazard Awareness : Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
• Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
