Position Summary Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN / LPN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. In collaboration with the physician, the LVN/LPN ensures the implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population. Position Qualifications Valid temporary or permanent CA State Practical/Vocational Nurse License. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, dedication to quality patient care, and sound judgment in decision-making. CPR certification required. EKG (Advanced 12 Lead for Medical Professionals), valid ACLS, IV and Blood withdrawal certifications required within six months of hire. Ability to maintain assigned work hours and endurance to perform tasks over long periods. Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities to the patient, unit staff, and self. Maintain professional appearance and adhere to the corporate appearance policy. Wear hospital-issued nametag at all times while on duty. Conduct oneself ethically at all times and uphold all service standards.
