Job Title: IT Equipment Coordinator Location: Sheffield Salary: £26,227.5 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role. Role Summary We are looking for an IT Equipment Co‑ordinator to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of IT equipment across the organisation, including ordering, shipping, receiving, tracking, and maintaining accurate asset records. The role also supports the wider IT team with administrative tasks and basic hardware repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT, with full training and development provided. Key Responsibilities Manage the shipping, receiving, and tracking of IT equipment Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date asset records Track equipment movements between sites, suppliers, and users Perform basic laptop repairs to keep devices in service Order IT supplies and manage supplier documentation Provide administrative support to the IT Infrastructure team Assist with IT projects as required Support users with basic IT equipment queries Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager Essential Skills & Experience Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues. Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 11. General understanding of IT systems, software, and cybersecurity best practices. Confident using Microsoft Office applications. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, with a willingness to learn new skills, including laptop hardware repairs. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as regular travel to sites across the UK may be required.
