Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse in Tucson, Arizona. This travel position requires providing patient care in a float pool environment across multiple facilities. The role involves working day shifts with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including at least six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule. The selected candidate must be willing to float between departments and facilities.

Job Details:

• Location: 6200 N La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85741
• Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Work 6 weekend shifts within each 6-week schedule
• Required Qualifications: Arizona license, BLS, ACLS, 2+ years of experience, Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience, trauma level experience (1-3)
• Additional Information:
  • This is a float pool position, requiring flexibility to float among four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
  • The role involves shift accountability for patient care, utilizing critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership.
  • The position was created as a contractor replacement.

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Additional notes: HCP was out helping a family member and is now ready to return to work. The candidate can start as soon as they obtain their state license and is willing to accept floating responsibilities.
