Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures for a travel assignment. The role involves providing expert perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist surgical teams with sterile techniques and instrumentation during operations.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document all nursing and surgical activities accurately in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
