About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Gig Economy Claims to provide strategic leadership and direction for its commercial auto claims organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the claims strategy, establishing an effective structure, and ensuring the development and enforcement of compliant internal policies and procedures. This role demands a leader with a strong background in claims management, particularly in the gig economy and commercial auto sectors, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiencies and foster innovation. The VP will also be tasked with talent acquisition, continuous improvement, and ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Applicants for the Vice President of Gig Economy Claims position at the company should be customer-centric, data-obsessed, and possess a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven approach. The role requires a candidate with a minimum of 20 years' experience in P&C claims, including significant exposure to gig economy and commercial auto claims. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the intricacies of gig-economy and commercial auto claims, including layered coverage structures and their impact on liability and coverage decisions. Strong leadership skills, particularly in the areas of litigation management and team development, are essential. The VP will also be expected to have a strong command of claims-related data, the ability to synthesize information, and a proven track record of enhancing organizational efficiency. A Juris Doctor is a plus, and experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
