CLASSIFICATION: Part Time

REPORTS TO: CEO

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Management of clinic of Family Health Care of Siouxland

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)

1. Help establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned administrative areas.
2. Oversees quality programs such as but not limited to; value based contracts.
3. Selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations.
4. Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
5. Resolves problems in administrative areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
6. Helps fiscal management and other administrative staff to develop/implement cost effective policies and procedures for all operation areas including bookkeeping, billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, data processing and space planning.
7. Monitors and controls clinic expenditures.
8. Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
9. Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.
10. Assures staff is trained and utilizing EMR in accordance with FHC standards of care.
11. Approves and Codes invoices and longs on A/P log in an accurate manner.
12. Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices.
13. Performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Bachelors' degree in health or business administration, along with 5 years of business management experience including 3 years managing a clinic.

ALTERNATIVE TO MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Clinic/business management experience may be substituted for education requirements.
