Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in either an inpatient or outpatient environment and craft personalized treatment programs
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and function
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with relevant standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., in geriatrics, neurology) are beneficial but not required

Skills

• Prior experience in a related role is strongly preferred
