Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience for a 13-week day shift travel assignment at a 396-bed hospital in Florence, SC.

Job Details

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45a-7:15p,
• Every other weekend required,
• Holiday rotation required,
• Floating within scope to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, is required,
• No floating to sister facilities,
• Charting via Epic,
• 396-bed hospital,
• Free parking on-site,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; recent critical care experience is required,
• RRT credential required - CRTs will not be considered,
• SC Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required; license must be in hand at time of start,
• Active AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT); all must be in hand at time of start,
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration,
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required,
• First-time travelers will not be considered,
• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler,
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs,
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment,

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane activity occurs in August and September
