Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will serve as a critical field leader, driving the successful execution of high-quality residential additions and custom deck projects. This role allows you to lead and mentor a dedicated field crew while ensuring precision craftsmanship for a growing, family-oriented business. You will have the autonomy to manage on-site operations with the full backing of a company committed to your long-term professional development.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Supervise and mentor a field crew of 2 to 3 carpentry professionals to ensure high-quality residential project delivery.
• Manage the daily execution of framing and deck installations in strict accordance with blueprints and safety protocols.
• Coordinate daily carpentry tasks and delegate responsibilities to maintain project timelines from start to finish.
• Direct the installation of custom deck railing systems and ensure every job site achieves complete, polished results.
• Execute skilled interior and exterior trim work to maintain the high craftsmanship standards of the business.
• Operate a company vehicle to transport crews and materials safely from the shop to various regional job sites.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven ability to lead residential carpentry crews and manage construction sites with minimal oversight.
• Strong proficiency in reading, interpreting, and executing detailed structural blueprints and residential building plans.
• Demonstrated experience framing residential additions and building custom, high-end decks.
• Absolute willingness to travel up to 40 miles to various project assignments as required by the business.
• Valid driver's license required to operate the provided company installation vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of leadership and framing experience specifically within the residential carpentry field.
• Completion of a formal trade program, technical certification, or equivalent field-based training.
• Advanced skills in fine finish carpentry, including detailed interior and exterior trim installations.
