Real Estate Paralegal

Paralegal Position Paralegal with commercial or multifamily residential real estate experience - complex transactions, not single-family residential or small commercial. Affordable housing experience a plus. The Paralegal will assist attorneys with preparation of loan documents and review of titles, surveys, title commitments, various ownership agreements, and transfer documents. Prepares closing files and follows up on additional post-closing matters. Conducts research using general and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), researches documents filed at the registry of deeds or secretary of state, processes discharges of mortgages, easements, amendments, consents and waivers, and handles other legal and administrative tasks as needed. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree. Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a commercial real estate paralegal with finance experience. Proficiency in various applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
