Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 8a-6p either Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri, with rare weekends if needed Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current Physical Therapy license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in outpatient orthopedic care. - Ability to work with diverse patient populations including post-joint surgery, pain management, back issues, post-falls, post-neuro, and some sports cases. - Familiarity with acute inpatient and acute rehab settings is preferred. - Willingness to engage in warm water therapy. Description: The position requires treating approximately 8-12 patients per day. The role involves conducting 45-minute outpatient sessions, with additional time allocated for inpatient evaluations and documentation. Basic certification requirements include BLS and a license to practice as a physical therapist. The candidate will be trained in specific departmental procedures. Optional self-scheduling is available with a block schedule preferred for shifts. Weekend coverage is rarely required. There are no holiday requirements for this position. The dress code includes scrubs or business casual attire. The charting system utilized is EPIC. Cancellation of shifts may occur as per policy during assignments.
