Business Development Representative - Sales

The Business Development Rep (BDR) will be responsible for generating new leads and opportunities by specifically targeting and calling on businesses that are not currently assigned to Fleet Manager. Following the documented sales strategy plan, the BDR will work within an assigned geographic area collecting specific information about businesses we do not do business with currently. They will work closely with the sales team and other department groups to ensure we have the right people involved in each new opportunity created. This position is an important member of Shoppa’s Aftermarket Sales Team and requires excellent customer service, great attitude and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers and prospects. Primary Responsibilities (include, But Not Limited To) Generate leads and opportunities from non-designated accounts in assigned geographic area Find ways into businesses that we are not currently doing business with today to gather specific information Sell New & Used equipment to New C & D Level prospect accounts. Update all leads and opportunities in CRM, populating all required fields Meet face to face to customers, demonstrating the value statement of Shoppa’s, promote all available products and services Collaborate with team members that will be engaged in the opportunities created Collect specific Units In Operation (UIO) information and update with the UIO Management team Any other duties assigned by the company Qualifications Requirements (include, but not limited to) Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred 1-2 years’ experience in sales required; experience in material handling industry preferred Ability to consider all aspects of selling including: vendor relationships, profit and loss concepts, and long and short-term goals of the company Great interpersonal skills and a team player mentality Strong communication and presentation skills Able to meet deadlines and highly detail oriented Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint #J-18808-Ljbffr Shoppa's Material Handling
